CONTROL
Is a contemporary circus theater technically based on elements of acro dance and aerial
acrobatics. We talk about power, fear and loss of control in intimate relationships, pointing
out the subtle danger of toxic melting. The spectacle has a duration of 30 min played,
created and directed by Mizz A/Angie Kurz and Gaffa Galaktika/Julia Makoschitz, a female
acrobatic Duo and part of Pardalea.Collective from Austria, based and working in Spain.
Pardalea Collective:
Gaffa Galaktika and Angie Kurz met while doing a circus education in Spain and formed the
circus and performance project “Pardalea.Collective”.

The show went on tour last summer 2021 under the name “La Murria” in a smaller version
and was presented at Festivals in Spain, France, Austria and Slovakia.
After a residency in Cronopis- Barcelona the show was adapted and recreated under the
name “Control” to present it on our Greece-Balkan-Austria Tour for summer 2022.
Biography of the artists:
Angie Kurz:
Ex-aerobic gymnast in national and international competitions, education in contemporary
dance (Home Dance Studio/Valencia) and circus schools (Espai de Cìrc/Valencia and
CAU/Granada) in Spain. Social Worker in Austria, Algeria, Tunisia (people with disabilities
and homeless people). Social Circus Projects in Romania. Dance and Circus Training in
Buenos Aires/Argentina and Havana/Cuba.
