Αυτή η βραδιά θα σηματοδοτήσει την αρχή του καλοκαιριού: ένα Balkan party-εισαγωγή για τα πολλά που θα ακολουθήσουν με συμμετοχή διαφόρων μουσικών σχημάτων! Σας περιμένουμε στην ταράτσα του θεάτρου Εμπρός την Τετάρτη 15/7 να γκρουβάρουμε στους ήχους των βαλκανίων!
Ελεύθερη είσοδος – θα υπάρχει κουτί οικονομικής ενίσχυσης για τους μουσικούς.
Ο αριθμός των θεατών δεν θα ξεπερνά το επιτρεπτό όριο που απαιτούν τα μέτρα υγειονομικής προστασίας.
Team of the Balkan Session Athens
Balkan Session Athens: Μια ανοιχτή συνεργατική προσπάθεια εξερεύνησης σε βάθος και πλάτος της μουσικής των βαλκανίων.
Από το Σεπτέμβρη του 2020 θα γίνεται κάθε βδομάδα στο θέατρο Εμπρός, με σκοπό να δημιουργηθεί ένα σημείο συνάντησης για μουσικούς, χορευτές και γενικά λάτρεις αυτής της μουσικής.
Όλο το υλικό που θα δουλεύει η ομάδα (ήχος, παρτιτούρες και στίχοι) θα είναι διαθέσιμο online.
Chepkalo Projects
Tο μουσικό σχήμα Chepkalo Projects παρουσιάζει με τον δικό του ιδιαίτερο τρόπο παραδοσιακά τραγούδια κυρίως από την περιοχή της βορειο-δυτικής Μακεδονίας αλλά και των τριγύρω περιοχών, εντός και εκτός συνόρων. Αγαπημένοι ρυθμοί και σκοποί που ως συνήθως ακούγονται από ορχήστρες χάλκινων πνευστών μόνο με την μουσική τους, παρουσιάζονται αλλιώς: με τους στίχους τους.
Farra duo
Οι Farra duo παίζουν κυρίως παραδοσιακά από Ελλάδα αλλά το ρεπερτόριο τους ακουμπάει και μουσικές έξω από τα σύνορα, με έμφαση στην Ήπειρο και την Αλβανία.
Duo Salvatore-Gkiom
Ντούο Salvatore-Gkiom είναι ένας μουσικός διάλογος με συνομιλητές το κλαρίνο, το λαούτο και τη φωνή. Σκοπός τους είναι να αναδείξουν τα μουσικά δίκτυα που συνδέουν τις παραδόσεις των Βαλκανίων.

Duo Edoardo-Guillermo
Ντούο Edoardo-Guillermo: ένα ντουέτο που αποτελείται απο τον Gkiom Klaval στο κλαρίνο και τον Edoardo Sovrani στο αρμόνιο/synthesizer. Οι επιλογές του ρεπερτορίου τους χαρακτηρίζονται από τα δύο βασικά στοιχεία της λαϊκής βαλκανικής μουσικής: την χαρά και τον πόνο. Από την Αλβανία ως τη Βουλγαρία εξερευνούν και επαναπροτείνουν μελωδίες που ενώνουν και ταξιδεύουν.

This evening will be like the start of the summer: a Balkan party-introduction to the many that will come in the future with a diversity of Balkan music bands from Athens! We wait for you in the terrace of Embros Theater to enjoy the sounds of the Balkans!
Free entrance – there will be a donation box for the musicians.
The number of spectators will not exceed the permissible limit required by the health protection measures.
Team of the Balkan Session Athens
Balkan Session Athens: an open collaborative project in an effort to explore as a team the depth and width of the music of the Balkans.
It will be held weekly in Embros Theater from September 2020. His purpose is to offer a meeting point in Athens for musicians, dancers, and in general balkan music lovers.
All the material that the team will be working on (audio, music sheets, lyrics) will be available online.
Chepkalo Projects
Chepkalo Projects presents in its own way traditional songs mainly from the area of Greek Western Macedonia and the surrounding areas, inside and outside the borders. Music and rhythms that are usually heard only with their music, are presented with their lyrics.
Farra duo
Farra duo plays mainly greek traditional music but their repertoire crosses the borders and includes music from their north neighbourhood, emphasizing to the music of Epirus and Albania.
Duo Salvatore-Gkiom
The Duo Salvatore-Gkiom is a musical dialogue with as interlocutors clarinet, Laouto and voice. Their purpose is to highlight the music networks that connect the traditions of the Balkans.

Duo Edoardo-Guillermo is an electronic duet. The choices of their repertoire are characterized by two basic elements of popular balkan music : pain and joy. From Albania to Bulgaria, they explore and repropose melodies that unit and wander composed by Gkiom Klaval on the clarinet and Edoardo Sovrani on the keyboard/synthesizer
